Hi everyone! Hope you have a peaceful happy sunday!

Today I am blogging for a lovely lady who is in the process of planning her very own web site!

Her name is Kim Yorke, She leads a very busy life but always finds time for creativity! She has a passion for hand made jewellery and loves that every piece is unique. She embraces a new challenge when someone asks for that one off design be made, and her creativeness flows!

Anything you would like to ask Kim or maybe get your heads together and create that special piece just for you, you could e mail her at kimyorke@btinternet.com.

This is my (still keeping in with this weekend of love!) Victorian Angel Hanging Heart
The smaller pic shows A new technique how I applied finer sparkles to my finishing.
I just love her face, her eyes draw me in... hung with rustic string.
Hangs 13" Long
Purple mood
Pink Mood

In the keeping of the Romantic Mood. This is my Victorian Double Heart Wall Hanger
In my mind I wanted to create two hearts beating as one. Made from wood, using many layers of paints, inks & varnish to complete.
Hangs with brass wire. I then distressed a clay leaf to embellish, to signify love sealed.
I love working with wood I find it so satisfying and rewarding.. Sarah x

He is such a blessing!

My hubby has just given me my valentine boquet... I thank God for him, he's lovely!!

Only thing is when I mentioned that valentine wasnt until tomorrow he reminded me he was at the match and probably wouldnt get time to go and get any! lol

He had to go and spoil it didnt he?

He also got me a little gift "Anti - ageing Moisturiser!" lol

Who says Romance is dead!?

(I did request the moisturiser though, crafting all hours of the night & day really has made me look old!) lol

I have had to chop a lot of the flowers out of the picture... as you could see my crafty mess on the side..sorry! lol

Getting ready for Easter

Keep sake box

A part of my new collection...
A wooden keepsake box with a brass clasp,
I mixed several colours together to achieve this colouring... and then spent hours (lol! literally) distressing the wood, I painted the cherries and attached them with some copper wire.
Im really pleased with the result, hope you like it!

A big day today!

Will be putting my new items onto the web site, I hope the photos look good! Any tips would be very much appreciated.

Wouldnt it be lovely if the lady on the till at the Asda asked "would you like some help with your web site photos" instead of "packing".... it would be really good and my bread wouldnt get squashed under washing up liquid!! lol

Great morning!

The lovely Alison (polly-anna patchwork from forum) organised a charity craft fair in aid of the NCT in Stafford, considering she only had a couple of weeks to sort everything out and is glowing with 'soon to be mommy for the 2nd time' joys, she did really well.

On arrival we had a lovely hot cup of tea made for us, I wish I could say that about every craft fair I attend!

I had some lovely feed back which was pleasing, you put so many hours into your creations its nice when someone appreciates it, most pleasing was the responses I received about my new Victorian line, pics to follow when collection is complete.

I met a couple of lovely ladies also from the forum Carol and Jackie who both create beautiful Jewellery, I really enjoyed the 2 hour bash it was relaxing and friendly, and to top the morning off I arrived back at 1pm to a clean & tidy home, yipee! Bless him, I wanted him to have his picture taken with the hoover so I could upload and show you but he refused... point blank! chicken!
